Hardwood flooring installation

Timeless Beauty, Built to Last

Hardwood isn't just flooring — it's an investment in your home. Hand-selected boards, acclimated to your home's climate, and installed board by board with the precision that comes from two decades of craft.

Whether you choose solid oak for a historic restoration or engineered hickory for a modern coastal home, we handle every detail from subfloor prep to final finish.

Every Hardwood Project Includes

a

Hand-Selected Boards

Every plank is inspected and chosen by our team — no factory run, no surprises. We pull boards for color, grain, and character.

b

Proper Acclimation

Wood needs to adjust to your home's humidity before installation. We let every board acclimate for the correct duration.

c

Site-Finished Stains

Custom color mixed on-site, applied and sealed to match your vision exactly — not a factory approximation.

d

Herringbone & Patterns

Classic herringbone, chevron, or custom inlays. We bring the geometry to life with crisp, precise angles.

e

Wide-Plank Installs

From 5-inch classics to 12-inch statement planks, we handle the large formats others avoid.

f

Subfloor Preparation

Perfect floors start beneath. We level, clean, and moisture-test every subfloor before a single board goes down.

From Measure to Walk-Through

01

Measure & Assess

We measure every room, check moisture levels, subfloor condition, and discuss how you live in the space to recommend the right wood and finish.

02

Select Your Wood

Browse samples of oak, hickory, walnut, and maple. We'll help you pick the species, grade, board width, and stain color.

03

Acclimate & Install

Boards acclimate in your home, then our crew installs with precision — doorways, transitions, and pattern layouts handled with care.

04

Sand, Stain & Seal

For site-finished floors, we sand to a glass-smooth surface, apply your custom stain, and seal with commercial-grade finish.

05

Final Walk-Through

We walk every room together, check transitions, and make sure you're delighted before we pack up and protect your new floors.

Hardwood Questions

How long does hardwood installation take?+

A typical room takes 1–2 days. Full homes take 3–7 days depending on size, patterns, and whether site-finishing is involved.

Solid or engineered — which should I choose?+

Solid is traditional and can be refinished many times. Engineered handles moisture and slab subfloors better. We'll recommend based on your home.

Can you match my existing hardwood?+

Yes. We'll custom-mix stains to blend new wood with your existing floors, including grain-matching where possible.

Is hardwood good for kitchens?+

Absolutely — with the right finish. We recommend site-applied polyurethane for maximum moisture protection in kitchen areas.
